SRC
Életrajz
SRC: The Scot Richard Case SRC were a 's British sounding psychedelic band, from Detroit, Michigan, USA. The band was formed around Scott Richardson ,a former lead singer with Ann Arbor band, The Chosen Few, and fellow Michigan band a, featuring the Quackenbush brothers, Gary . The Quackenbush brothers were a crucial to producing, what would be, SRC's signature sound.
The bands name came about from a suggestion from their manager Jeep Holland. Holland suggested that they come up with a new band-name centered around Scott's name, saying it would create more attention to the group from local Detroit-area radio stations. The name came about accidentally shortening Scott's surname to "Richard" and using guitarist Steve Lyman's middle name 'Case' .They band settled upon the name 'The Scot Richard Case'.
It sounded good and implied an alternative meaning "the situation about Scot Richard".
SRC is known for their accomplishments and continues to make an impact, inspiring others and leaving a lasting impression through their work and presence.
